Quick Start
Add from FAB
Add Slate Pro from the Fab Marketplace to the Unreal Engine version you want to use.
Enable
Open that Unreal Engine version in Unreal Editor, go to Edit → Plugins, enable Slate Pro manually, and restart Unreal Editor.
Customize
Open Edit → Editor Preferences → Plugins → Slate Pro to change themes, node styles, and wire visuals.
Configuration
Settings location: Edit → Editor Preferences → Plugins → Slate Pro
Settings are saved to Saved/Config/Windows/EditorPerProjectUserSettings.ini
Reset to Defaults
Remove this section from your user settings file:

Slate Pro enhances the Unreal Editor's visual scripting experience. You can apply themes, restyle nodes, and customize wire behavior to create a cleaner, more focused workspace.
No. Slate Pro runs in the editor only. It has zero impact on builds or runtime performance.
No. Everything is configured through Editor Preferences.
Yes. Install it once for the Unreal Engine version you want to use, then enable Slate Pro in that engine and restart Unreal Editor. Any project opened with that engine version can use it.
No. Slate Pro only changes how nodes, wires, and editor themes are displayed in your local editor. It does not modify Blueprint logic, routing, or saved graph data. Your team members can work normally, even if they are not using Slate Pro.
Uninstall
- 1 Disable Slate Pro in Edit → Plugins
- 2 Close the editor
- 3 Delete the
Plugins/SLT/folder - 4 Remove the
[/Script/SLT.SLTSettings]section from your user settings file
